全职主妇，二胎预产期六周后，还有两周考试，坐标加州。

十三年几乎没看过一个英语单词，没办法，用不着啊，看美剧都只看有字幕的。可是前年老公transfer到加州，我在家带孩子（也用不到英语，加州中国人太多），无聊了一年半，憋不住了，考考看看，找份像样点儿的工作。

别的不提了，就说作文，已经让我完全失去考试的信心了，我30分钟照着抄，打字都打不了500，顶多400……而语言更是小学生水平。今天完全不想学了，带着孩子去游泳，回来看到ETS官网上有个score it now的作文在线评分，收费20刀，心想花钱买个心中有数吧，就在线测了AW，哈哈竟然给了我4分…… 大家看着玩，别拍我的作文啊，权当辛苦学习过程中的一乐吧，也给自己一些信心，原来有人作文能写这么烂。

我知道作文写得差，哈哈，不过就两周了，不想被打击了，努力用处也不大了，爱咋咋地吧。

The speaker claims that cooperation will be better than competition for young people in developing leadership. I tend to disagree with this claim. Competition is more important than cooperation in developing a leader's own ability and leading the team to success.

First, competition is more important than cooperation in developing a leader's own ability. When young people are studying in school, competition will help them to establish targets of learning and sporting. They will study and practice much harder with a higher target when competing with other people. They will learn what success and failure mean, how to handle these, and how to improve themselves by competition.

Second, competition is more important than cooperation in leading the team to success. What is the most important thing for a team? When young people become leaders in different kinds of fields, the most important thing for them is leading their team to win. As a president of a country, you have to lead the country to win in economic competitions with other countries; as a boss of a company, you have to lead the company in competitions with other companies selling the same product; as a manager of a team, you have to lead the team to win in competitions with other teams doing the same job.

On the other hand, cooperation is necessary for leadership. Young people should learn to cooperate with others, but what really help them best is competition in developing their own ability. Cooperate will help a leader manage his own team, but without competition the team will lose a lot of important opportunities.

In sum, competition and cooperation are essential for leadership, but in my opinion, competition is more important.
